Hi MDM Gurus,
We need to download some of the xsd's from XML Schemas table from specific repository, as we know it is stored in database directly as binary, i'm looking for the way to extract the xsd and to make some adjustments for the process. i'm helpless, how do we download this xsd files from database by converting it back to xsd texts. please help us to find a way.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
to genrate XSD Schema for database table it is possible for SAP table by using T Code MDMGX if you are using other legacy system ask Technical expert to provide XSD Schema or many third party software available which genrates XSD schema for database table

Hi,
If you are using srm mdm then you can get this xsd from note 1171711 .
If you are using some other repostory then you can ask the team who provided you the repository.
Otherwise you have to follow the ExportSchema of Repository to get the xsd's of that repository.
Thanks,
Sudhanshu

Hi Smartsoft User,
depending on your version of MDM you may want to try the following:
Make a schema export of the repository. In the created XML you should find the XSDs (quite at the end).
This works only in MDM 7.1 and only till SP03 or 04, as they are encoded in (possibly) Base64 in later versions. In MDM 5.5, XSDs are not included in repository exports.
If you need to make changes to the schema for syndication maps, you may also want to try to export a syndication map as XML and manipulate it manually.
I hope that helps.
Best regards
Christian
