Unable to create datasource

HI to all,

I have to create datasource which will talk to oracle database installed on SAP-EP server where i am deploying.

As i read, i created driver importing classes12.zip and then creating datasource.

But is giving errors.

Please tell me what are the values i have to give for following:

Driver Class

Dtabase URL

User

Password

I am selecting the Driver name which i am creating and selecting JDBC Version as 1.X(no XA Support).

I gone through all the tutorials at sdn.sap.com regarding it. Please tell me step-wize to create the datasource,

Please help me out to solve this.

First i created a driver by selecting the classes12.jar and selected that Driver while creating the datasource.

I am using JDBC Version as 1.X(no XA Support).

I think i am making some mistake in giving these values if u have any idea please tell me in detail.

Please tell me what should be the values of above fields.

Hi raman,

when i am creating the datasource by setting initial connections as 0 then it is creating but on running in my application i am getting following error:

Exception ResourceException in method ConnectionFactoryImpl.getConnection(): com.sap.engine.services.dbpool.exceptions.BaseResourceException: SQLException thrown by the physical connection: java.sql.SQLException: Invalid Oracle URL specified

Please tell me the solution
