Hi Everybody,
I'm having a problem with NWDI. All my SAP Portal landscape is 7.0, but my NWDI server is installed in 7.1.
This gets me to a problem when I do the assembly in NWDI because 7.1 runs on JVM 1.5 and Portal 7.0 on JVM 1.4.
Is there a way to tell NWDI that it must do the assembly using 7.0 so the assembled components can run on Portal 7.0 (JVM 1.4)?
Thanks in advance,
Fede
You need to create a "build variant" in your track to specify which JDK to use.
Some info
https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/docs/DOC-109403
https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/docs/DOC-105432
Look at page 13 of this document to see how to set up a build variant. The document is for setting up a 7.0 NWDI to work with 7.1 content, but it should give you an idea of what you need to do for a 7.1 NWDI
