Hello,
is it true, that BEx Analyzer requires a JRE installation and if yes, where can I find out about the supported JRE versions.
I didn't find any information on this either in SAP Service Marketplace and PAM.
Our client systems teams advices me, that they can't install BEx without JRE, though (which I'm not entirely sure of) and ask me to tell them about what versions are supported.

If I am understanding your question correctly...
I would have to say no, that the BEx Analyzer does NOT need the Java Runtime Environment to work. I believe the analyzer loads as a plugin into Excel if I am not mistaken. I am sure some of the more BEx savy individuals on here can answer, but I would say no. We have many end users using BEx and it is not dependant upon them having Java loaded on the machines.

Zecher
