Spool Request in SRM

Hi,

I want to know why SRM generates two Spool request numbers for the same PO output.

One Number comes as Compl. Status and other blank.

This doesnt happens in R3, R3 system creates only one Spool request for any output.

Is there any specific reason or functionality with this.

Please confirm.

Note 1139546 - Two Spool requests created for each print output

Symptom

When any Business object is outputted using the Print option, then for each print option two spool requests are created.Other terms

Output,two times output,BBP_OUTPUT_PRINT, print spool requests, BBP_OUTPUT

Reason and Prerequisites

This is caused due to the program error.

Solution

Note : This note is valid till SRM 6.0 SP03. Please apply the following correction instruction using the SNOTE transaction. No Manual steps required.

Hi Vaibhav

Are you sending the PO as XML to the vendor? There should be only one spool for one PO Output at one time. What is the mechanism you are using for sending the PO to Vendor....
