Applying SAP Note 27799 on AIX 5.3

hi,

Anyone had applied note 27799 Turn off unwanted form feeds on AIX 5.3 ?

We're using L metode for printing. There's blank page and banner pages everytime user printing.

SAP said that our servers are using the parameter 'rspo/host_spool/print'

cd &p; qprt -dp -P&P -Bnn -N&C -c -R14 -X850 &f 2>&&1. then they suggest to Note 27799 to fix the issue.

But i don't know the exact command line for AIX.

In the note suggest lpr -J/nff/nb for Titlepage & Blankpage. I tried to run /usr/sap/lpr -J/nff/nb then hang.

If there's anyone knows the correct command and how to use it, please let me know.

Additionally....

When using Access Method L on SAP, the command contained in the parameter

'rspo/host_spool/print' is simply executed at OS level.

So with access method L SAP does nothing more than to execute the

lpstat command on operating system level.

Use the options lp -onff and lp -onb -onff for Blank page and Titlepage&Blankpage respectively.

Hello - Ignore the last comment as it is for HPUX which was assumed your using.

Use with the command within parameter 'rspo/host_spool/print' lpr -J/nff and lpr -J/nff/nb for Blank page Titlepage&Blankpage respectively.
