Installing procedure for SAP BI

Hello experts,

I am willing to install SAP BI in my personal laptop for practicing.

so the things i want to know are:

1. Do i need to install sap ecc 6.0 before installing SAP BI.

2.what should be the hardware configuration for this.

please help me on this.

SAP ECC6 - It's not mandatory untill you want to have an ERP system to extract / replicate BI to ECC.

SAP BI can solely installable * for more on hardware configuration you can have look at latest master / installation guides from service marketplace.
