Managing System not registered in SLD

On Solution Manager 7.01 EHP1 in HA Unix environment. In Agent Administration - Agent Candidate Management, we get the error 'Managing System 'OPG.SystemHome.sapopg' is not registered in the SLD. It is using the local SLD on the Solution Manager system.

OPG is the Solution Manager managing system but for some reason it is not registered as such. There is an entry OPG.SystemHome.oraopg but none for OPG.SystemHome.sapopg. It is HA, so the database host is oraopg and the application host is sapopg.

How can I get the Solution Manager OPG system to register itself properly as a managing System in its own SLD.

Hi There

In the agent candidates, on System Landscape Directory Section, please use the SOLMAN_ADMIN user and its password in the parameters and check whether the issue persits. If so then please review note 1148028 and the guide attached to it

as it describes how to setup SLD in the scope of RCA scenario.
