SRM-MDM Catalog Management

Hello!

We have installed the following components in our landscape:

SAP EHP4 ERP with SRM Server

SAP Portal with 2 Business Packages (BP for SRM and Supplier Collaboration)

MDM components MDS and MDIS

Now I try to mount MDM server to the MDM console. Therefore I entered the hostname and get the following error:

File failed a crc check

Question

Which steps/components do I miss (MDM Connector and MDM Java API, some MDM Business Packages for Portal)?

Hello!

Enclosed the content of SAP note 1177779:

You need to install the following components which are included in the SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0 delivery.

o MDM Server

o MDM Import Server (if you want to automate the data import)

o MDM Console

o MDM Data Manager

o MDM Import Manager

o MDM Workflow (if you want to use workflow)

o MDM CLIX (if you want to use command line interface for most operational MDM Console commands)

All of the components above have been succesfully installed.

My MDM Console Version is 7.1 (7.1.05.92)

My MDM Server version was: MDM 7.1 SP05 Patch14

Now when I try to connect Master Data Manager to MDM console I get the error:

File failed a crc check

Hello!

I updated my MDM console to the version MDM 7.1 SP02 Patch27 (from MDM 7.1 SP05 Patch10).

Now it is possible to mount MDM server and MDM Import Server.

But by starting the components I get the following next error:

Socket error on connect
