JSPM not showing all the packages

Dear All,

I am upgrading the Java stack from 700 SP 015 to 701 SP 003 using JSPM.

I have downloaded all the packages including stack.xml file and placed in EPS/in directory.

To start the upgrade, I selected Support and Enhancement Package Stack.

But it ended up showing only JSPM in the queue. All the other packages included in the directory are not visible.

Do the packages appear after the JSPM upgrade?

Please help me.

Thanks and Regards,

Yuva.

Hi Yuva,

Please check the upgrade master guide for your specific platform, products, ... I think you should use the EHPi (EHP Installer) instead of JSPM.

Hope it helps.

Dear Yuvraj, As said by Naveed Dao - first you would need to download the patches from MOPZ

secondly kindly check what is the minimum level of Java SPS that is required for you to got to 701.

Like if its NW 2004s SPS 18 minimum would be required and then to further patchi it to 701 you need to do it with EHPinstaller.

Also, check the sapnote for that sps level.

Hope it helps.

Hi All,

Thank you for the replies.

I generated stack.xml file from Service Market Place. It added all the requried packages to the basket.

I update java stack to sp18 and will try the EhP1 SP003 update.

Thanks and Regards,

Yuva.

Hi All,

JSPM is now parsing the configuration file (stack.xml) and showing the packages now.

We need to update JSPM to 701 target stack first.

Restart JSPM, we need to select support and Enhancement stack.

Regards

Yuva.

Did you use Maintenance Optimizer in Sol Man to download the Enhancement Pack ?

Thanks,
