From local Bid invitation PO is not generated in backend

Hi,

We have configured LAC with SRM 550 with sp stack 04. We are facing problem while generating purchase order from local bids(not wrt to shopping cart).

When we create Bid invitation wrt shopping cart ,purchase order is generated in R3 backend (as confirgured for classical scenario).

When we create Bid invitation not wrt to Shop cart.In this case we are used to maintain bid-invitation with with manually maintainance of "goods receipients and location" in Header data.Purchase order is generated in SRM but not appearing in backend R3. .In transactionat Rz20 of SRM it shows alert message "Please enter Storage Location".

Ours is a classical scenario so how to go ahead for

po generation in this case.

Hello Santosh,

Please type in the "goods recipients and location" in the partner tab of Bid Invitation. Make sure you select correct transaction type for classic PO.

Thanks Masa,

For creating bid invitation(when not wrt SC) I used to key in "goods recipients and location" in the partner tab of new Bid invitation.

As per your suggestion while generating PO selected transaction type for which po is already created in R3 backend (Po for bid wrt shopping cart).

Still po is created only in SRM(not in R3 backend) with showing below BSP errors in transaction-Rz20 of srm.

1.PO header data still faulty

2.Please enter Stor. location

3.Document number(PO) 1000000172 not within defined interval

when try from "Process purchase order" to select storage location(SL) , SL data not updates it remains blank.

pls advise.

Hello Masa,

We have configured classic scenario , Purchasing documents needs tobe created in backend only.

we have scenario to have Bid invitations with Lots. Flow from shopping cart to bid is working with backend po generation.But we can't create lots in shopping cart so need to start process from Process bid invitation transaction to create directly from that point.

In this case we used to provide "partner tab " details like "Goods Recipient and Location " but main error is storage location is remains blank.
