Hi,
I have looked into blogs on Alert configuration and troubleshooting.
Can any one provide me links for detail documentation
on alerts, like on how to configure business alerts, technical alerts.

New alert workbench functionality after SP14: 870232
There are no seperate concepts for Business and Technical Alerts.
If you need Business alerts, for eg. Raising alerts for Business Process success/Failure then you will have to do the same using BPM and raise them explicitly.
Technical alerts like Raising alert if the mapping goes into error can be raised by Just configuring the Alert Rules in Alert configuration.
