hardware required for SAP DMS Server

hi all,

my SAP system is SAP ECC 6.0 EHP1 with oracle OS is linux , if we install DMS server on this same sap system or on saparate system. how much hardware required for DMS server. our mostly will be imaging documents.

Hi Imran,

For sizing the content server, you need to calculate the volume of document per day,per year, upto next 5 years based on client requirement. Then the hardware sizing can be defined.

our sap user will be 15-20. doc type will be word excel imaging drawing, etc.

plz give me some idea about hardware for min 15 & 40 max doc per day for 15-20 users.

Hi Imran,

Based on your details I can suggest that size of content server should be around 300-350GB for hassle free work.

RAM 16GB. If users are at different location then check bandwidth with IT - hardware ,networking team.
