AUC settlement

Hello ,

Please note the conditions below:

1. Investment profile defined

2. Asset number range starts from 800000X

3. Asset project scenario

My question to all is, whenever I release a WBS element linked to an Inv.Profile an AUC is generated.

This number can be seen in EDIT>WBS ELEMENTS>INVESTMENT PROGRAMS-->AUC

When i generate a settlement rule for the particular WBS element then in the receiver category i Give FXA, Receiver number is AUC number?

If i give the obtained AUC number then error issued is "Cannot post to asset 800001-0 (Investment measure) "

Else if i give any other created AUC number for ex> starting from 500000X then i can settle it to 800000X without disturbing the 50000X series accounting.

Please let me know the exact procedure and settings if any required.

In case of settlement to AUC, system will create settlement rule automatically during first settlement run. you dont have to maintain settlement rule manually for AUC.

You mean to say, I have generated the AUC number and WBS will settle automatically to the AUC generated when i use CJ88?

Yes, If you have created AUC automatically using Investment profile.
