Hi,Srikishan

Thanks for your hints.

the registery is ok now and instance displayed in the SAPMMC. But when I stared it the 'disp+work.exe' was in the status of 'running, the message server connection ok,Dialog Queue time 0:00 sec'. There were some items in 'current status' were in grey color, such as 'service configuration','R3services'.but the instance is green color. Are there some problems? Thanks for your advice.

Hello,

Are you able to logon to the system using sapgui/saplogon

pad? If the system is green then please try this:

Goto Start -> Run -> sapgui <servername> <sys-number> and

the sapgui should be displayed.

Hi,srinivasan

In SAPMMC->view,the column of 'available split' is emepty, and other column(right side) of 'indicated split' is only one item 'Name.

Other buttons such as 'add' and 'remove' couldn't be pressed with the grey color.it require to logon with special use such as sap service? I logon with local administrator.BTW,the OS is deutsch system.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

You would need to register the sid service. Goto the

kernel directory ../usr/sap/<sid>/SYS/exe/run and run the

sapstartsrv.exe. Give the sid, sys number, startprofile

from ../SYS/profile/start* and the username/pwd as

SAPService<sid> and the password given during installation

Hi,Srivatsa,

the OS is Windows server 2003 and DB is ORACLE 9.2

Hi,

That might have been removed from the view. Go to the SAP MMC->view and add the instance.

Hope this helps.
