Hello,

Our developers wants to use the Web Dynpro functionalities and Pl let me know How to Enable Web Dynpro on Development Server.

-Is this should be done in SAP Level or through OS Level.

-How to check this service is already running or not. (Status of this service)

Hi

Goto:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc after this select "host" and open it with notepad. then at the end of this file there will be IP address below that you write your IP and then write sap-01.aig.com. After this save the file.

Hello,

Set the following parameter in the instance or default profile.

SAPLOCALHOST <hostname>

SAPLOCALHOSTFULL <hostname>.<domain>

icm/host_name_full <hostname>.<domain>

Activate the following services related to webdynpro in the tcode SICF.

SAP > public > bc (all services except trex and workflow)
SAP > public > ping
SAP > public > icman
SAP > bc > error
SAP > bc > gui >sap > its > test (all services)
SAP > bc > gui >sap > its > webgui
SAP > bc > ping

You may also have to activate the custom developed services.
