DEAR experts,
I am a certified PP consultant in ECC 6.0, and I have 3 years experience as a PP &QM consultant.
I want to choose SCM as a profession.
Ie i want to be a good supply chain manager in functional in the long run.
For this i found two options , one is learning SAP -SCM and practice as a consultant .
Another is to go for APICS -CSCM certification.
By doing CSCP Certification i feel i have both options like i can practice as a consultant in SAP-SCM and i can go for functional job as a SCM - Manager .
I am on the cross roads for putting my efforts on SAP-SCM Or On APICS -CSCP/CPIM Certifications.
Please guide me who aware of the both plat forms
Regards
Sasikanth
Hi
I think as you mentioned above you want to be supply chain manger in functional in long run, I will suggest to go for APICS, as it will be really help you to get into details of SCM.
I think SAP-SCM will also provide you information related to SCM, but will be more SAP focus. I think with APICS you will not tool specific , you can be good supply chain manger who can work with any kind of tool.
Thanks
AMOL
