Installation of SAP MI Client Component

Hello,

I am trying to install the SAP MI CLient Component into the Mobile Device, using the SCA Files that have been provided to me after the installation and configuration of the SAP MI Server Components.

However, I am unable to figure out how to do the installation using the SCA Files.

Please provide the steps to proceed with the installation using the SCA Files, NWMCLIENT15P_5-10002889.SCA and NWMCLIENT15_0-10002889.SCA

You can deploy SCA files using sap software deployment manager where you can actually deploy and configure your sca files and confirm your deployment.

Thanks for the info.

Please let me know if I can use the SDM if the SAP J2ee server is installed at a remote location.

Also, I would like to know if it is possible using the NWDS.

Hi,

You can do it by specifying the correct URL, i mean hostname and port number and system number etc. Infact most of the times SDM is configured for remote usage.
