Delete messages from SOLMAN - Service Desk

Dear colleagues,

I have implemented the service desk in SOLMAN.

As we do have around 50 managed systems, to test the creation of message from each satelitte systems,

I have created ... 50 messages that I want to remove.

The GoLive of OSS message is scheduled in 2 weeks. I would like to remove all the "test messages".

I have that I have to :

1. Call transaction DNOTIFWL and set the deletion flag for the Service Desk message.

The deletion flag corresponds to the system status I1076 (deletion flag).

2. I have downloaded report Z_DELETE_BASIC_NOTIFICATIONS from OSS Note 566225

If works to remove NOTIFICATIONS. But when I start my SOLMAN_WORKCENTER transaction and then,

Incident Management, I still have my 50 messages displayed.

I have also started report CRM_ORDER_DELETE. But I have to enter a "Business Transaction Type".

So, which steps is missing to have 0 messages (instead 50) in my SOLMAN's Service Desk ?

Thanks in advance four your input.

Best regards

Hi,

With reference from note 1329247:

You cannot delete a service process in CRM. The service process must

be archived.

Call transaction SARA and select the archiving object CRM_SERORD.

Archiving involves three steps:

a) Initial run Report CRM_ARC_SERORD_CHECK

b) Write run Report CRM_ARC_SERORD_SAVE

c) Delete run Report CRM_ARC_SERORD_DELETE

When the delete run has completed, the service process has been

deleted from the database and is in an archive file.

You can access archived documents using transaction SARA.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

The steps that you have provided will delete the basis part of the message only. To fully remove them from your Solution Manager system you will need to archive the CRM portion of the Service Desk message with transaction SARA.

If you need further direction just browse for SARA on the SolMan forum, there have been others with the same inquiry.
