RBE Tool for upgrade.

Hi everyone,

One of our customer is going for an upgrade from 4.6C TO 6.0 with EHP1. There are lots of Z/Y objects created in the system. Before going for the upgrade we would wanted to extract the list of customer objects. I heard that RBE tool can help in this. I need to know whether SAP Still support the RBE tool and if yes can anyone provide the link or details documentation for the same?

Dear Nikhil,

You want to List the customer developments, there are many ways to do that. from treditional SAP T codes. Why you need RBE Plus to list.

Is there any other purpose of listing it? Why dont you ask your ABAP Team to do some cleanup before you upgrade your system. It can save you from lot of troubles while upgrade.

We recently done a Upgrade to ECC 6.0 from 4.6 with more than 6 thousand Customer Specific objects and trust me its a pain ... so try to run a simple project of cleaning this out before you do an upgrade ... just a simple tip.

From SE11 SE90 you can list your customer developments.

Thanks for the reply, it is helpful. As you said, you have done the upgrade from 4.6 to 6.0. I will be doing the same but the size of the database is around 15 TB and this is my first MDMP system upgrade. If you can share some of your experience with me and how do you gone about the upgrade activities and how to make it faster that will be very helpful.
