Hello,

-> Please see the SAP note:

25591 Changing the DBM, SYSDBA and DBA user passwords

-> Please check if the default passwords are working.

control/control

superdba/admin

Check with your team what passwords they used during installation,

Or may be changed the database users passwords.

-> Login to the application server as <SID-apl>adm and try to connect to the database with following commands:

dbmcli u2013U c db_state

dbmcli u2013U w db_state

If the xuser entries were set correctly on the application server for <SID-apl>adm user

-> You will be able to connect to the database and use the SAP note 25591then.

-> And as SAP customer you could create the SAP message to help on this issue.

!! But if you forgot all database useru2019s passwords + there are no correct xuser entries found on your servers + the database configuration files were deleted/corrupted

-> We could NOT help you.

Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina

Hi,

You need to connect to MaxDB instance using DBGui. Later navigate through configuration section. Select dba operators.

This is the place where you can change the password for mentioned users.
