Incorrect shipment stage for Inbound shipments

Hello,

Scenario - Vendor to Plant (PO)

We have a situation where the stage on a shipment document (VT01N) is not being determined as desired,

its picking up the Vendor address on the stage /leg instead of the Goods supplier address from the PO partner .

Is this standard if not can you please suggest note / config I should be looking at .

Hi,

This question too old, so you might have found solution.

Anyways, you can check few settings

1. Routes - Just check whether there is a route between zones in which your plant and vendor is located. Also check existing legs

2. Check whether Zones are assigned in athe addresses tab of both plant and vendor

3. Check route determination

4. Shipment Type settimgs - In shipment type, if the stage / leg determination is set.

I guess this might solve your problem.

Hi Vivek,

I have all these setting right

My issue is when I planned the shipment in VT01N

Example : I am planning Inbound transportation from Plant " X " to Vendor (Vendor has VN = "A" and GS as "B")

My shipment stage/lage is picking up form (A - X), but I wanted to plan from ( B - X).

Hope I have explained it well, is there a way to handle this.
