Spool requests

In spool request, i wanted to find out from batch jobs how many pages are printed. I am aware that we can go to SM37 and check.

But i wanted to check all the spool jobs at once where the number of pages printed from batch jobs.

I also wanted know how many pages have been printed each day, week, month, do u think st03n gives exact information for the same.

In SPol transaction we have spool request tab and output request tab, which gives following information,

Spool requests tab:-

3,453 Spool requests displayed

==============================================================

1,096 Spool requests without output request

249 Spool requests being processed

840 Spool requests completed successfully

1,258 Spool requests completed with problem

10 Spool requests with errors (may not have been output)

Output request tab:-

3,959 Output requests displayed

==================================================================

618 Output requests being processed

1,154 Output requests completed

2,177 Output requests completed with problems

10 Output requests has errors (may not have been output)

How to find out how many pages the the spools have printed.

Thanks,

Kris

Hi,

check st03ndetailed analysisglobally--spool.It gives you:

1.No. of spool jobs

2.Processed pages

Alternatively, see if you can extract something from spool tables in se16

1,096 Spool requests without output request

249 Spool requests being processed

840 Spool requests completed successfully

1,258 Spool requests completed with problem

10 Spool requests with errors (may not have been output)

Output request tab:-

3,959 Output requests displayed

==================================================================

618 Output requests being processed

1,154 Output requests completed

Hi Krishna,

Try to run report RSPO1041 using se38 , select completed spool, select(tick) on only log without deleting at bottom,

it will give the result in that it will shows the spool no,type, client,username and pages column too. so from pages column

you will get the printed pages details.

Thanks,

Kiron.

Correct me if I understand your requirement. You need to identify how many spool request created using batchjob and how many pages printed?

Goto SP01, give the correct data or userID, execute. you will get the report with spool number, userID, pages, and status.

Anyway, I am from Mahyco,Dawalwadi, keep in touch.

How come after executing SP01 he got only the summary not the full list? When you execute you must get an full list of spools and summary.
