Hi,
We configured new base condition and surcharges and want to deactivate old base price and surcharge. The idea which we know is validity period, or removing from pricing procedure but what we want is old condition should still show in pricing procedure but should not be considered. The idea we have to make them statistical but want to know will it have impact some where in report or some posting or do we have some other better way to achieve this.
thanks
Making a condition statistical is not the correct solution. It will affect old documents also. if you have any pending open sales order, in which old pricing condition should go to accounting, after making it statistical it will change those open sales orders and contracts also and in those documents also accounting will not be posted.
For exclusion go to spro-sd-basic func-pricing-condition exclusion-condition exclusion for grp of condition. Here do all the 3 steps. make a condition group, assign conditions to the grp and then maintain exclusion for pricing.
Always go for the solution which does not have long term repurcussions.
thanks

Use condition exclusion for this. I have done done the same and it works. In maintain condition exclusion for pricing procedures give D( Exclusive)

Hi Niki,
Making it statistical seems to be a good idea among the lot. To make it does not have any other impact - remove any account key assignment if it has one. Remember it will still post values to accounting as long as account key is mapped to that condition on the pricing procedure. Check in COPA if this conditino is mapped any value fields. check t.code KE4I.
