Folks,
We are on SRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0 .
Now we have business requirement to create custom account assignment category for "cost center" which i have created by copying CC to CC01 in SPRO -> account assignment category node in SRM.
i have also maintained SPRO-> product category , account assignment category ( CC01) , G/L account mapping.
In the user attributes of PPOMA also i have maintained account assignment category ( CC01 ).
Now when the user is creating shopping cart with the above product category then in the account assignment category tab of UI screen ( Portal) , details of account assignment category disappears . This happens only for custom account assignment category only ( CC01) but works fine for standard account assignment category CC.
Did anybody faced this issue before . any solution or SAP Note existing for this issue. I also checked in BBP_PD , there i could see account assignment category- CC01 and other details this means data is getting saved in database but there is some issue on UI ( webdynpro / portal). My feeling is this is standard SAP bug . Need suggestions
We had this problem in the default settings area. We had to add the custom account categories in the field control and then it worked.
Configure Field Control

Set Type: 31
Obj type: BUS2121
Set Subtype: SRV
Visible: X
Enabled: X

Scott

Hi
The above query was resolved with Scotts answer .
For cost center - account assignment category CC01 i did the following entries in the above spro node after which entries were visible in account assignment category of shopping cart
set type - 31
obj type - BUS2121
structre field name - acc_cat
Field visible - X
Field enable - X
similar entries were done for structre field name - COST_CTR, CC_DESCRIPTION, CO_AREA, DISTR_PERC, GL_DISCRIPTION,
G_L_ACCT, WBS_DESCR, WBS_ELEM_E
THANKS,
Ashish
