Critical Defect

like some of out defect codes is very critical & major defects so i configured critical and Major defects next function in result recording i select radio button work flow link

but when i test defect recording for critical and major i am not get any work flow links kindly guide me how to link any configuration settings is required.

I will find out the userexit for mail trigger if any out of tolerence in result recording

This works like follows

Say in customization you have maintained F2 notification as a default notification in 01 inspection type.So When you record the defect, which has defect class say critical for which you have applied the tick of "work flow " ,then that Notification will status remains open.

Then you have to go to QM02 & close the notification.

is it possible if it is critical defect mail should go for responsible person

you could do that as a function of the created notificaiton, not the defect itself. Use the various user exits and workflow associated with notifications to do the email.
