Simulation ATP check in R/3?

Hello,

is it possible that an ATP check in R/3 is done in a simulation mode?

The ATP check is triggered by a R/3 sales order or by a CRM sales order.

Hi ..

I did not quite get ATP check in simulation mode... If all the parameters for ATP are maintained you will see the result of availability in the sales order with or without saving the order.

On the second question - ATP check is never done on CRM system since it does not carry out any of the logistics functions.

CRM can also be connected to APO which does a GATP ( Global ATP) instead of doing ATP on R/3 if required if an APO system is in place.

Yes we can absolutely simulate ATP check for the Sales Order in R-3. You can create a Sales Order and go to the line item level, please refer the tab called "SCHEDULE LINE" for checking the availability check process and ensure to do the checking without saving the Sales Order.

Hi Sarthak,

but this means that the confirmed quantity is allocated (by temporary quantity assingments) during the ATP check (the runtime).

So it is not really a simulation check.
