i am getting error sld_collector_task while giving HTTP settings

Hi,

Please can you do the following checks:

1) Test the connection SAPSLDAPI in transaction SM59

2) Call transaction SLDCHECK and check if the correct SLD is accessed

3) Call transaction SXMB_IFR and click on the link to the SLD. Does it connect to the new SLD?

4) Create a new Software Component Version in the new SLD and try to import it into the respective Integration Repositories.

Also, look at sAP Note: 720717.

The same is given in there.

Hi,

We are trying to configure XI3.0 and following the SAP XI 3.0 SR1 Installation Guide for this. We are currently configuring SLD and at page 37 where we have to do the configuration od SLD Data supplier Service in VA, we are getting the error as:

HTTP call failed: Unable to open connection to host "exchsrv:50100". The host is down or unavailable..

2006.07.18@00:07:08: Collecting process ended.

Also we have checked SMICM for HTTP services, where the port for Http is 8000, we double click on HTTP to find if it is running, we saw that the services are not started it is yellow. We change the port to 8001 and restart ICM but still the HTTP is yellow. I am not sure if this is the problem. Please suggest how to make HTTP green and active.

Please can you check Page 15 of the same guide for HTTP check.

It's better if ou go through the whole steps again.
