Reorder pont scenario - SNP - Query

Hi,

Our requirement is that in Heuristics, when the stock falls below the reorder point, it should be replenished to the defined target stock level.

Example:

Reorder point : 100

Teaget stock level : 500

When stock on hand falls below 100 it should be replenished to 500.

Stock level between 100 & 500 should not trigger any replenishment.

Currently if i define only reorder point method, when stock falls below the point is replenished UPTO the reorder point.

Currently if i define only target stock level method, when stock falls below this level it is replenished UPTO the target stock level.

We need a combination of the two as discussed above.

Please let me know how this can be set up.

Hi,

Please maintain both the values Reorder Point: 100 and also Target Stock: 500.

Then if the stock falls below Reorder point for ex: 80.. then it will replenish: 420

Hello GK,

Thanks for the inputs.

We have already tried the same. (there is no field called target stock, We have to choose target stock method 4, and set max stock 500).

But in that case, If stock dips to say 450, a procurement is triggered for 50 nos to reach target stock of 500.

We do not want this to happen. We want procurement to be triggered only when stock falls below 100.

The issue is fixed.

The combination of Reorder point & target stock level method 4 helps for this requirement.
