Transaction usage information

Hi all,

I am interesting in finding out the details of how an when transaction usage information is registered in RAR (VIRSA_CC_ACTUSAGE).

Which is the process / action / function in RAR that trigger the retrievment of this info from the backend into RAR?

Is it Alert job generation?

Yes it is the alert generation job.

You have to schedule it quite regularly (e.g. daily) as depending on the SAP settings the action usage might be deleted soon.

But there is no filter criteria for choose or not its execution, correct? (as there is for critical action , conflicting actions and mitigation alerts).

Once scheduling alert generation job is run, this transaction usage info is retrieved and store in RAR.

Is this correct?

Imanol,

it's better you schedule 'alert generation job' to run twice a day.

it pick data from STAT file

make sure RSCOLL00 job is scheduled to run hourly in the backend systems
