SAP crash after background execution

Hi,

I have a system crash,whenever i execute reports in background mode

Steps to recreate:

Transaction:se16

Input table:EKKO

From the menu bar

Table DisplayexecuteBackground--give a printer name on the pop-up and enter

SAP crashes down

Am on SAP GUI 7.20 PATCH 2,Signature theme.

Could someone explain reason for this

Hello

if you use the forntend printing with control technology ( G ) then a BATCH is not possible, becuase

"FRONTEND" PRINTING use a Frontend Control...

Frontend controls are generally not capable of batch input... and the frontend printing with access method G use a frontend control...which is in Batch not available.

Just for clarification, is it the SAP systemn that is crashing, or just your SAP Gui session?

If it is the latter,I would check your SAPGUI version and patch level. I do not see a background option for SE16 in the 7.10 GUI Patch 15.
