Material R0012203 2203 does not exist

Hi,

I was entering dummy stock for material R001 to plant 2203 and storage location 2203 through T.code MB1C,

but the system is showing the error :

R001 2203 2203 does not exist.

I have checked MM02 and entered what are required, including the delivering plant.

Could anybody help me resolve this error,

GO MM03

Give material

and select General Plant Data / Storage 1 and Accounting 1

here give plant and storage location, if you getting error then you need ot maintain the material

Hi ,

The issue seems to be with material extension to the rquired plant/storage views.. since its clearly telling that the materail is not existing for that combination.If this is a QA or DEV issue you might need to do it manually... but in a typical PRD environment generally there would be program which run to ensure proper extension of materail views.
