Hi,
We are planning to install SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0 on a new virtual server.
Is their any restriction on the usuage of tools(like Solman_workcenter,dbacockpit,generating EWA reports,SMD etc.,) on virtual servers?
Any links/documents will be appreciated...
Thanks and Regards,

Dear Venkata,
As far as you use features from Solution Manager there is no such restriction. just check if you want to use any third party solution on the same box, you have to check its restriction.
All above provided links are helpful if you want to learn about Virtualization in SAP.
Hope this helps.

Thanks to all. From the Note - 1409608,it is understood that SAP supports exclusively Windows server 2008 64-bit in a virtualized environment for AMD and Intel processors for all Netweaver versions.
But would like to know if you have any idea whether Wily Introscope is supported in virtual environment or not?
Thanks and Regards,
Hi Venkata,
My Solman server is WIN2008 64bit and installed on VM ware.
I installed Introscope version 8.2.2 and it is running perfect.
Follow this note for your reference.
It does not matter either physical server or virtual one.
