Unable to delete the file

Hi Experts,

I am facing the problem with deletion of teh XML file after processing.

In my Scenario file to RFC, after file got processed PI system unable to delete the file. In my CC i have set 600 sec poll interval and also asked FTP vendor to maintain FTP timeout for 600 sec.. and also given all the permissions to the folder/file for deleting it. Even after that also same problem i am facing. Pls see the below error.

"Failed to delete file 'BBMC_CONT_Extract.xml' after processing. The FTP server returned the following error message: 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 421 Timeout (600 seconds): closing control connection.'. For details, contact your FTP server vendor."

The file size is 7.5 MB... due to large size PI system is not able to process with in 10minutes.. shall i ask FTP vendor to increase time out to 30 minutes.. and also i will increase 30 minutes in my CC simultaneously

Can anyone suggest what would be the solution.

Hi Bhaskar,

I think the file size 7.5 MB is nt a big problem in ordinary environments.....

Can u please try to reprocess the same file with less data say 1 MB or less and check now if it is deleting or not...

Then i thnk u can conclude...
