How to tell the difference between original ORDRSP and order change ORDRSP

Morning,

we're generating outbound ORDRSP IDocs for sales orders and also ORDRSP messages on order changes (change flag in WE20).

However I can't find a difference between the initial/original order response IDOC and the order change order response IDOC.

Is there any way to tell the difference (change flag etc)?

hi Sven,

You can find the difference between original ORDRSP and order change ORDRSP by checking the logical message code (EDIDC-MESCOD) in control record of idoc.

if EDIDC-MESCOD = space === > original

if EDIDC-MESCOD = 'CHG' === > order change.

Hello,

The value of this field is use internally in FM attached to the process code for Creation/Change and in case of change, only the relevent changed data is sent ( taken care by attched FM).
