Hello,
I'm in the process of installing ERP 2004 IDES in our test environment but I seem to have problems with the Oracle installation. I followed all the steps from the guides and double clicked the file sapserver.cmd but nothing happens, just a quick flash. Any suggestions / assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Frank

IF u r using WINDOWS environment, Go to command prompt
Move to Oracle dump directory.
i.e.
<Oracle Dump>/NT/I386>sapserver.cmd and press enter:
Hope this will work

Hi Frank:
Have you installed Java 1.4.2_11 SDK and 1.4.2._11 JRE.
I am not sure what else to say. Did the system create any type of log?

Frank,
You can start the oracle universal installer in 2 ways
1) by executing the script sapserver.cmd
2) by clicking the setup.exe from I386\install folder
Thanks,
Mohan
