Oracle 10G upgrade - SAP 4.7X110 R3 pre-upgrade question

In order to save time during a production on an Database outage for the database10G software Install, Database Patch install , SAP Bundle patches and then the Database 10 Upgrade while SAP is up and running on the database server.

Is it possible to install the Oracle 10.2.0.1 software

Then install the Oracle 10.2.0.4 patch

Then install the SAP Bundle Patch

Then, switch ORACLE_HOME back to Oracle 9 and continue to run the SAP database with Oracle 9.2.0.5 until we are ready to run the Database Upgrade a week or so later switching back to Oracle_HOME 10 and then starting the upgrade? This all on the SAP Database Server running Unix AIX 5.3.
