How to find out my web dynpro application URL?

Former Member

I deployed my web dynpro application through NWDI. I usually run my dynpro apps by right-clicking on Application and click RUN in my NWDS, it launches the browser with correct URL. But my NWDS is not configured to use direct deployment and is not configured. I have to make out my dynpro URL myself. Can anybody help me figure it out?

SC:

SC Name: GOT_SC_PORTAL

Vendor: mycomp.ca

DC:

Vendor: sap.com

DC Name: home/myprtl

Dynpro Application:

Package: mycomp.ca

Name: MyPortalApp

What should the URL look like?

Hi Faraz,

you can also do this way:

1. go to the engine http://<host>:<port>/index.html where you have deployed to (using NWDI or directly using NWDS, does not matter):

2. select the WebDynpro Tools link

3. Web Dynpro Content Administrator

4. Simply look up the application from the tree on the left.

5. After finding it, press "Run" after you have expanded the Applications node, and selected the Application of the Webdynpro

6. Now your application will run in a separate browser, you can copy-paste the URL from it.

Best Regards,

Ervin
