Document Archiving.

Dear all,

I am working on Document Archiving using Transaction Code SARA. Archiving Session has been created but it is under Incomplete archiving Session. In job log it is showing "NO CONTENT REPOSITORY IS MAINTAINED FOR ARCHIVING OBJECT CV_DVS".Message class "BA",Message No. 185 and Message type "E".

Can somebody guide me to overcome the above issue.

Hi,

In transaction SARA write archiving object "CV_DVS" and click on "Customizing". In the pop up under "Archiving Object-Specific Customizing:", click on "Technical settings". You'll see the view to customize this archiving object. Now, make sure that "Content Repository" field at the bottom is populated with the right content repository ID.

You'll have to configure this content repository in transaction OAC0 as well and then make sure that the connection between SAP and your external archiving server works.

I checked as u said.Content Repository is maintained with mentioned parameters in OAC0.

Basic Path: AL_Global

Physical Basic Path: /usr/sap/EH4/SYS/global/

Phy Arch paht: /usr/sap/EH4/SYS/global/

Output Device: $$ARC

we are not using any external archive server. we are using content server only.
