Hi All,

I want to clear one concept:

1 - Function of SAP CCMS agent as if we do not get install it we also see all OS data in CCMS.

2 - Information flow between SAPOSCOL,CCMS agent,stat file,SAP collector job and then update on stats data in SAP tables...

I searched but did not find any link...Plz suggest..any link...or make my confusion clear..

Hello Shivam,

there is a nice picture of the information flow from the SAP workprocesses -> statistics buffer -> stats files -> table MONI in the SAP traning material ADM315 in Lesson: "Statistical Records and the Workload Monitor".

saposcol and CCMS agents use a shared memory structure called "Monitoring Segment" to store their data.

For more details on CCMS agents, the SAP training ADM106 should be the right one.
