Emailing Output from Sales order doest work when we put a note.

We have configured email output type (Simple Mail) for sales orders. This works perfectly fine when sending outputs in pdf format. But when we send some note in the note for recipient section, this note is not received in the email. Only the pdf file is received.

Can someone please advice?

Hi,

This doesnot happen automatically. If you want the note to be given as the email text, you have to specifically code for it. In normal output type configuration, it only picks teh document and sends it as an attachment. In this case, the body of the email will be empty.

If the email should be filled with some content, then it should be coded explicitly in the program linked to the email output type.

Then only the functionality will work.
