IDES SR3 installation.

Hello everybody,

I am trying to install the IDES SR3 on windows 2003 (x64) and Oracle.

But the installation is stopped at the import ABAP phase.

When I check the log details,I had found that following logs

(RTF) ########## WARNING ###########

Without ORDER BY PRIMARY KEY the exported data may be unusable for some databases

(TSK) ERROR: file C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\ERP\SYSTEM\ORA\CENTRAL\AS\REPOTEXT.TSK.bck already seems to exist

a previous run may not have been finished cleanly

file C:\Program Files\sapinst_instdir\ERP\SYSTEM\ORA\CENTRAL\AS\REPOTEXT.TSK possibly corrupted

D:\usr\sap\IDS\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe: job finished with 1 error(s)

D:\usr\sap\IDS\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\R3load.exe: END OF LOG: 20100928092230

So please suggest me, How to solve the problem and continue with the installation.

Hi,

Seems like the previous run was not killed properly. I would suggest you to start the installation again with option New Run and before that rename the folder sapinst_instdir under c:\program files

R3load provides the facility to merge the task files and continue in import.

Check the R3load command line from the logfile & then use the -merge_bck option along with the import command to restart the import
