Handling Unit Management and Storage Unit Management

Hi all:

I would like to ask you specific doubts about the use of HUM and SUM within WMS and outside WMS.

1. What is the advantages and disadvantages of implementing WMS with HUM insted of SUM?

2. SUM and HUM they can be used at IM level?

3. the SUM and HUM have the same length?

4. What would be the principal characteristics of HUM over SUM?
