Error Sales area (SalesOrg_DistChanl_Division) is not defined for customers

Hi Gurus,

As a part of FI-SD integration, i did some basic customization in SD...

But i couldn't create Customer master (XD01)

I am getting following error msg..

Sales area (SalesOrg_DistributionChannel_Division) is not defined for customers

Message no. F2644

But i already made Setup Sales area (Spro-Enterprise structure-Assignment-SD-Setup Sales area)

But still the error appear..

Pls help me to rectify this error

It looks your configuration is still not complete in SPRO.

Goto SPRO-> Sales and distribution ->Master data -> Define common distribution channel. Make required entries here. Then in the next step Define common divisions, make required entries.

This should resolve your issue.

Hi,

Try this, Maintain common distribution channel & common division using transaction codes VOR1 & VOR2.

This would help you resolve your error.
