@ Thomas: Thank you very much for that! I always wondered what the explanation was for this...
I need to send an apology to Craig Cmehil now for accusing him of doctoring the clocks - if you can still edit your post...?
Cheers,

You can edit your messages as long as nobody replied to them. In your example, the posts below yours were all replies to other messages in that thread (see the "in response to:" information).
I'm quite certain that you cannot edit your post above any more

Dear all,
i noticed a bug few days back in sdn.sap, i mailed it to sdn sap.com and got a reply, that they are unaware of it.once check it.
1) Open any article page in sdn
(for example this article in http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/d0619693-ce8f-2c10-07b5-fc222ad36370)
2) click on any username in the reviews it opens business card in new page.
3) in business card move to community tab and click on MY contribution , Total points
for example http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/porta/lprtrootcom.sap.sdn.businesscard.sdnbusinesscard?u=zp8a...
4)it opens a new page with an error "that exception occurred and send this exception to administrator".
for http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/mypoints?userid=zp8ag7ibu8g%3d
