Archiving Objects in APO

Has any one used Archiving functionality of APO?

If yes, for which objects you have used archiving funcationality?

Hello Anjali,

Per the online help documentation. Here it is stated which APO objects can be archived:

"Archiving in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (SCM-APO)

Purpose

You can archive the following data in SAP Advanced Planning and

Optimization (SAP APO):

- Master data

- Production tracking information"

What kind of master data can be archived?

Master Data Archiving Object

Master Data for Product Interchangeability CA_INCMD

Master Data for Location Interchangeability CA_INCMD

This means that it is not possible to archive material master data

in APO.

In conclusion;

If you want to "clean up" your APO system, you need to delete the

location products in APO (including all dependent objects) and to

remove same from the active integration model.
