Delete an inactive Bucket

Hi,

I am struggling to delete an inactive bucket in Bucket dashboard, this bucket doesn't have any items linked to it but it gives me these errors.

Error An internal error occurred

Error Dereferencing of the NULL reference

Error Deletion of the object Environmental not possible as Items are associated with it

Info. No changes were made. Data is not saved

Please assist as I can't delete this bucket due to the above errors

Hi Siyabonga,

Any customer codes are involved?

If you have ABAP knowledge, you can run ST22, goto the program of the dump, set break-point and run the application again.

You should then get more information, why the dump occurs.

Hi,

The error was caused by data inconsistency to rectify this we have created a program that deletes entries from the /RPM/Relation_d table for the inactive buckets. In this program we look up for the inactive buckets in /RPM/Bucket_d and check if there are items in /RPM/Item_d that are linked to this bucket in either case we go to the /RPM/Relation_d and delete the relationship.

The above was recommended by SAP.

Pls check wheather this bucket is used for creating review or collection ,,,
