Hi,
You will need to create group in SMLG first

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Creating a logon loadbalancing group :
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/c4/3a64b4505211d189550000e829fbbd/content.htm
The bit with "User Specified system" you need to choose "NEXT" to the connect type screen.
Choose "Group/Server selection" from the "connection type" drop down
Enter you SID in sys ID field
Enter your message Server IP or Host
You will also need check two files :
1) on the client PC in C:\windows ===> sapmsg.ini file If this is missing create one and put in it <SID>=Hostname of message server.
2) services file C:\windows\system32\drivers make sure there is a reference to your systems message server port.
E.G. 36<sys number> /tcp same format as the rest.
