Hi ,

While registering sapccmsr we are getting the following error cannot open Monitoring Segment 0 rtc = 253.

Hi Ketu,

Usually such errors do not indicate a bug in the agent, but points to problems on the configuration side. There are may be several reasons for the problem, but following steps can often help:

1. Reboot Windows server to get rid of old CCMS segments.

2. Check the permissions of service user, which starts the agent, to assure that he has enough permissions to create a shared memory segment.

3. Start the agent manually from the command line with option #initshm to drop old shared memory configurations.

Hi ,

Thank you for the inputs. But our scenario is like this

We are planning to registering agents on database server which is having few SID on it. When i try to configure SAPCCMSR using -j2ee option its registering to one SID but when i am trying to configure to other i am getting the above error

Please also try to use the latest agent to avoid all the known issues as

per following note:
