SRM 7.0 process controlled workflow: PO no workitem created

Hi everybody,

we are using standard 1 step approval workflow for PO (approval by manager). Approver is correctly determined in preview. When ordering the PO, the PO is shown in waiting approval state, but no workitem is shown in BBP_PD and no workflow is shown in SWI6.

All tasks are general.

Any clues?

If the correct approver is shown in preview before saving the PO, then Process Controlled workflow configuration seems to be OK. Did you check general workflow settings in SWU3?

Problem solved.

After much debugging, we discovered that for PO's the WF system user has to be created as WF-BATCH and not like WFBATCH or WF_BATCH.

WF-BATCH is hard-coded (actually, is a class constant attribute).

Go figure...
